Sun Valley Winter Couples Session

I loved being able to take photos in Sun Valley this past month, it was the most perfect day getting to run around in the snow with these two. I loved getting to know Makayla and Jacob better during their session. It was just their anniversary so they love being able to spend quality time together and get these moments captured. We started walking down to the river and the snow was very fluffy and it was pretty cold out but that didn’t stop them from laughing and having the best time. For the next spot we went back into the trees and it started snowing. It made the photos even more beautiful and the moments captured during their session was absolutely perfect.

Makayla and Jacob are from Texas but they work occasionally in Sun Valley, Idaho. They love exploring in the mountains and they have been together for 11 years. I think that’s the sweetest thing ever!! We really bonded over our love for Taylor Swift and talked about how we both went to the Eras Tour in 2023 to see Taylor Swift perform live. I always love another Swiftie.

Sun Valley is one of my favorite places in Idaho so I truly love it when a couple wants to get married in the mountains or even plan their session in the mountains of Sun Valley. I highly encourage it!
